Hawaii Wildfire Management Organization
HWMO is dedicated to outreach, education and technical assistance, project implementation, and research focused on proactive and collaborative wildfire prevention, mitigation and post-fire recovery in Hawaii and the Pacific. From August 9 - September 9, 2023 HWMO will be donating 100% of all proceeds towards our wildfire prevention and mitigation programs that support impacted communities on Maui and Hawai`i Island dealing with the aftermath of the August 2023 fires.

Food donations can come directly to Maui Food Bank; a list of donation collection and distribution sites is available on their homepage. Financial donations can be directed to their website or Development Director Marlene Rice at 808-243-9500. When calling them please have patience as their lines are busy! Their website also has a list of food and other supply donations they are currently requesting. They are looking for volunteers; sign up is on their website.
Blood Bank of Hawaii
Needs help as they continue to replenish their inventories and support Maui Memorial Medical Center to ensure their blood needs are met in this difficult time. Please donate this week or next week. You can make your appointment at bbh.org or call 808-848-4770.
Pacific Birth Collective
Pacific Birth Collective is a grass roots, boots on ground organization based in Maui. All funds go directly to relief efforts for expecting, laboring, and postpartum families. Mālama for Maui DV Advocates: Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence
Domestic violence advocates are currently at the front lines of the Maui fire evacuation efforts, some who have lost everything to the fires. 100% of donations will go to advocates so that they can meet their basic needs and start to rebuild their own lives as they also work to support domestic violence survivors experiencing domestic violence within a natural disaster.
